The Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, also known as SABASABA, is an annual tradeshow that serves as a significant promotional event in Tanzania. Organized by the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade), this event is held at the Mwalimu J.K. Nyerere Fair Grounds in Dar es Salaam. The fair is a crucial platform for showcasing local and international products, having established itself as a key marketplace for businesses within the East, Central, and Southern African regions. TanTrade, which was established by the Tanzania Trade Development Authority Act No. 4 of 2009, aims to develop and promote both domestic and international trade, as well as to regulate international trade fairs in Tanzania.
