The Annual Conference of the Association for Educational Assessment in Africa (AEAA) is set to take place at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The AEAA is committed to the vision of harmonizing educational assessment across the African continent, a mission that has been in place since its inception in 1982. Originally born out of the sub-regional Conference for Heads of Institutions responsible for Educational Assessment in Eastern and Southern Africa (AEBESA), the AEAA was founded by member countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana, Lesotho, and Malawi. Over the years, many other African nations have joined the Association, further strengthening its commitment to quality learning and informed decision-making in the educational sector.
